About Us

Ryan + Jen, mAKers of EVERY ITEM on our website.

We are just two Alaskans who love nature, music, traveling, and living life to the fullest with our dogs. We love making beautiful things, and we truly appreciate your business.

We are proud to turn "trash into treasure." We’ve spent years repurposing miles of retired Alaskan commercial fishing line to keep it out of our landfills, our oceans, and off the beaches where we play. By preventing "ghost gear," we help save precious marine life while contributing to a living wage for our family and diversifying our rural Alaskan economy.

As intentional business owners, we prioritize a living wage over mass production. Our items are challenging and time consuming to create. The cost of our work reflects the intensive labor involved. Our hearts are full because, for us, the lifestyle is the profit. We follow anti-capitalist business models like circular economy, where we remove waste and return it to use as a valueable rug, mutual aid by teaching skills and reducing reliance on mass produced corporate goods, and instead of profit being our bottom line, we value people, planet and then profit.

We care deeply about our community and host workshops for children and adults because we believe art should be shared. We are grateful to everyone who has shared their skills with us as we strive to be independent, capable, salty Alaskans.

SAVE THE PLANET: Reduce, Reuse, Recycle.
